Terms and Conditions

 Legally Binding Agreement:

By signing a contract and/or accepting an invoice with HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C., you are entering and signing a legally binding contract for specified work to be completed at an agreed upon price. In the event that you break this contract, all deposits made to the company shall be surrendered as damages. Any cancellations must be done 24 hours prior to the start time of the job. Failure to do so will result in a minimum $100 fee.

Scheduling

Scheduling in a business which productively relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes.

Product Warranties:

All product warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturer of the products used. HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. should be notified immediately.

Water Usage:

By signing this agreement you agree to provide HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the specified project without compensation. The water usage cost is typically less than $5 added to a water bill for any home.  If an external water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional fees, along with the possibility of cancellation and a cancellation fee may be applied if we show up and are unable to complete the job due to a lack of a water source that was not made aware to us prior to the job.

Electrical Usage:

By signing this agreement, you agree to provide HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. the right to use an on-site source of electricity if and when it is needed to complete a specified project without compensation. If an external electrical source is required it will be an additional charge included in the price of the job.

Damages

HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. is not responsible for any damages due to improperly installed materials such as loose siding or shingles, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows, doors, and electrical fixtures and outlets, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, soffit, facia, leaders and improper caulking. We are also not responsible for loose mortar or concrete that may dislodge during the cleaning process.

Watertight:

HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. expects your home to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes, but is not limited to, all electrical services including receptacles and light fixtures, along with windows, doors, roofing systems and hardware.HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance, or repair of these related items.

Courtesy:

While HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. is on location and performing work on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals, including yourself, away from the work area. This is for your safety as well as our own. We are not responsible for any issues that may arise from neglecting to follow these guidelines.

Removal and Replacement of Deck, Porch and Yard Contents:

Removal and replacement of grills, furniture, planters, decor and any other items are the responsibility of the customer. Should we need to remove any items, we will not be responsible for any damages, breakage, or for storage issues. An additional fee may also be applied for the time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.

Color and Tone Concerns for Wood:

The properties, species of wood, age and weather can greatly affect the resulting color or tone of the wood after cleaning, and also after staining and sealing. Variances may occur on individual boards as well as the total project, as densities and other characteristics vary across and throughout the wood. HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. and its associates attempt to represent the final finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you a close idea of the overall color or tone you must expect some variances in the overall finish.

Oxidation

In almost every aluminum siding case along with gutters and other metal surfaces and also in some cases with vinyl siding, the sun along with oxygen and weather will bleach and degrade the surface of the material causing a white chalky residue on the surface that causes fading, discoloration and sometimes even paint failure that needs to be replaced or repainted. This residue is called oxidation and the removal of the this substance is not included in the standard cleaning process, it requires different methods and expensive chemicals therefore it is an additional service that we offer. Please note that after the standard cleaning process there may still be fading or discoloration. We try to point this out before the job is started, however it may also not be present until after the removal of all of the organic that is covering it up is removed. Also note that if not taken care of regularly can cause permanent damage to paint requiring the materials to be replaced. 

Stains:

Some stains cannot be removed by any method other than replacement. Tree sap, oil stains, artillery fungus, splatters from paints, stains and concrete/mortar are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional methods. We make every attempt to point these areas out to the customer when quoting the project. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all and require replacement of the materials.

Window Spotting:

Windows may become water spotted as a result of cleaning due to a higher tds in the water supply. Window cleaning is NOT included and is an additional service that we offer following a house wash.

Concrete:

The appearance of concrete depends on a number of different factors most linked to when the concrete was initially poured and cured. When concrete with dirt, mold,  mildew, algae and other pollutants and stains is cleaned, the concrete will then reveal any and all imperfections that the pollutants and stains have covered up. The customer understands it is possible that not all concrete will look the same even on the same driveway, patio, sidewalk, or concrete slab. 

Roofing Systems:

HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. is not responsible for any damages caused by water leaks caused by an improperly installed roofing system, existing damages, faulty/improperly installed hardware, chimneys, smokestacks and other protruding objects on the roof.

Payments

Payments to HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. are due as per the contract or invoice schedule and can be paid with cash, check or card. Bounced checks will have an additional late charge added. Please note that an additional processing fee may be included if paying by card. All balances are ALWAYS due upon the completion of the job unless specified otherwise and agreed upon by both HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. and the customer. Any variance of this must be agreed upon in writing. Late charges of 25$ will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. By signing this agreement the customer agrees to pay any collection costs incurred by HI-LO PRESSURE WASHING L.L.C. related to the collection of outstanding balances. Additionally, if the customer refuses to pay per contract specifics it must be noted that more serious actions can be taken against your property such as a contractors lien on the home or business.
